Cole Smith began teaching golf in 1998 at The Woodlands Country Club Palmer Course. In 2000 he joined The Massengale Golf Academy as a full time golf instructor. Cole has extensive experience in the golf world. 

In 2017 Cole co-founded Summit Golf School and has cultivated an environment focused around golf lessons, junior golf, and custom club fitting. Summit Golf School has grown to two locations and has been recognized as a top golf school in Texas.  

Cole has worked with many influential golf instructors, including the late Don Massengale, Jim McLean, Stan Utley, Robert Singletary and Mark Massengale.  He describes his teaching philosophy as timeless with an emphasis on keeping it simple.
